A passion project of myself and my partner-in-design (and husband), Blaine Pannell. With a shared love for beautiful objects, architectures, delightful interiors, and working with our hands, we’ve created a small home goods business, Em—Dash.
Because of the breadth of beautiful objects that fall under our home goods realm, the identity system is dynamic enough to brand any product. It accomplishes this by using simple emdash, as well as more playful emdash that expands to fit the space of its container. The word mark is set in Rotonda, a geometric sans serif with just the right amount of quirk to fit the bill.
Each piece of pottery is thrown and fired in small batches at our home studio.
